Krakow

31st July to 2nd August 2009

Krakow - Hello again! Once again the fatbritney boys have been off drinking around the world and this time our destination was Krakow. Having caught a flight at some un-Godly hour in the morning we arrived in Krakow at about 11.30 am their time. The first thing that was very obvious was that it was really hot and there was no sign of cloud let alone rain! We were pleased to see this although a bit hot as we had both travelled in jeans and were slowly roasting inside them!

After a short taxi ride we were over at our hotel in the middle of Krakow. read more >>

Amsterdam

7th to 10th May 2009

Amsterdam - We’re back from yet another crazy adventure and this time the destination was Amsterdam. I’m sure there are plenty of you reading this that have already been and no doubt will already know what I am about to write. For those of you who don’t know, Amsterdam is a city where it is “legal” to smoke cannabis in certain coffee shops and prostitution is also legal…so it’s a city of low morals which suits the fatbritney boys well! read more >>

Cancun

19th to 26th March 2009

Cancun - Hola amigos, we have returned from another adventure and this time we have been to Cancun for Spring Break! Once again there are many stories and a fair few photo’s and even the odd video! However, before all that the holiday started in Gatwick on St. Patricks Day! As a result we decided to go and have a few beers even though our flight was at 10 am the next morning…we are that dumb! We were staying in a hotel in Horley on Bonehurst Road…this made us laugh because we are childish. So having checked into our 2 star hotel (very overrated!) we headed off into Horley. The first 2 pubs we went to had fewer people in them than a support rally for Gordon Brown. The 2nd pub, The Air Balloon, was so dead we were actually the only 2 people in there! The bar man in there kindly directed us to a lively pub round the corner where we drank away the night and enjoying the spectacularly low price of JD and coke. The only problem was that it seemed like everyone else in there knew each other and kept looking strangely at us. It was very much a pub that wouldn’t have been out of place in Royston Vasey! read more >>

Las Vegas

18th to 26th November 2008

Las Vegas - Where to start?? “The begining” I hear you all cry…fair enough, I’ll start there. We landed in Vegas after travelling for about 57 hours…ish. We flew from Heathrow to LAX and then to Vegas. So we actually flew over Vegas and then back! Landing in Vegas was an experience in itself. We landed in the evening and the strip was already lit up. It looked spectacular and any thoughts of jet lag were washed away in the neon madness!

Walking through McCarran airport you quickly realise what you have let youseif in for. We were barely off the plane when we were confronted by rows of slot machines in the airport with many a happy gambler sat at them! A qucik cab ride to the MGM grand further opened our eyes. We drove down the strip past all these crazy buildings that were absolutely monumentally massive!! We were on the 24th floor of the MGM and that was probably only two thirds of the way up the building! read more >>

Budapest

25th to 28th September 2008

Budapest - As close to heaven as is possible. We landed in Budapest on the Thursday morning following a quick 2 hour flight. Although I do feel sorry for the bloke I sat next to on the flight due to the curry and beers from the night before…sorry!!

The journey from the airport to our hotel was only about 20 minutes or so in a cab and was quite worrying at first. Due to the fact that we decided to go to Budapest by picking it out of a bowl of other destinations we had no idea what to expect. So the journey form the airport was worrying because initially we went past a lot of old grey blocks of flats that were very much a relic of the Soviet days…we were worried!! read more >>
